Mole scanning is used to record a close up photo of moles on your skin that the doctor has identified as suspicious after a full skin check. This photo record is keep in our secure computer and is compared when you return for another Mole Scanning appointment.
This is an accurate way of monitoring any change in your moles.
It is important that after your first Mole Scan that you return for another appointment in three to six months so that the comparison can be made. Failure to do so can exposure you to the possibility of Melanoma. This is bulk billed.
