CO2 is an ablative laser that causes some downtime, which you need time to look after and live with post treatment. So, it is not for everyone due to that requirement. It is necessary to perform a test patch prior to the treatment day. This type of treatment causes microscopic scabbing which feels like sandpaper around day 4 post procedure.
